Unfortunately Zenith follows the old world design model of empty vastness and disproportionate scale. They could expand the world slowly with updates/dlc/expansions adding new areas little by little. Immersion and interesting exploration, avoiding the vast emptiness. Game designers came to the conclusion that a more compact open world with a good design is the best option to offer good content, Empty, dead, boring world.Ī few years ago the design of game worlds changed. constructors on massive scales to make everything look gigantic, a vast open world. These games were always empty, huge fields with trees here and there, hours walking from one point to another with nothing to do. Nobody thought that size doesn't translate into content.
