Capture One is a Windows and Mac-based image editing software that helps. and with equal levels of skill, the differences in quality between the programs are subtle. In some areas of photography Capture One is the industry standard, and you may well be expected to use it in a potentially fast working environment e.g. The suite also now comes with DXO Photolab 5 Essential, bringing Raw editing and DXOs renowned optics correction to the suite. I realize it is not likely but I noticed that Capture One does have software specifically for Lightroom users to migrate there. I like the ergonomics of Capture One a bit better, but DXO is for a third of the price for a perpetual license a very strong competitor. And speed edit, its really great on a notebook screen.
